Install MLS EARTHview™
We will be notified once your board has approved the IDX Agreement and delivered your access credentials to the MLS Data. At that point we will send you a short line of Java Script code that you will use as the body of your home search page.

This is usually a very simple installation, but implementation does vary from website provider to website provider. Your web developer can install the code in just a few minutes. The general instructions are provided within the email that we use to send you the Java Script.

If you are not working with a web developer we can certainly help you get it done.


 


The Search Form
Our intuitive and easy to use search form covers all of the essential criteria necessary for any property search, including:
TYPE—  Residential, Commercial and Land
OFFERED—  For Sale and Rent or Lease
BEDROOMS—  All and 1 to 5 or more
SQ FFET—  All and 1000 to 5000 or more
MINIMUM PRICE—  All and 50K to 5M
MAXIMUM PRICE—  All and 50K to 5M or more



Additional options include:
SHOW ONLY LISTINGS WITH PHOTOS— Selection Box
NUMBER— Partial or complete Street Number
STREET— Partial or complete Street Name
CITY— Partial or complete City Name
ZIP— Single or multiple Zip Codes
ZIP CODE MAP—  By US Naviguide for local reference

You can also search by specific MLS NUMBER(s).



If that’s not enough you can click on the ADVANCED SEARCH Tab and hone your search in tighter with additional criteria and the regionally specific dynamic data.

Additional criteria available on the ADVANCED SEARCH include:
FULL BATHS— All and 1 to 4 or more
GARAGE— All and 1 to 5 or more
ACREAGE— All, 1 or less, 1-10, 10-50, 50-100, 100+



The regionally specific dynamic data is captured directly out of the current MLS database. This eliminates the perceived problems that are associated with the static lists of other IDX solutions, meaning that if the subdivision is listed in our dynamic list, there is actually a property for sale in that subdivision.

These dynamic lists differ per MLS Board, but most all include:
STRUCTURE TYPE— Condo, Duplex, Single Family, etc
YEAR BUILT— The year built
SUBDIVISION— The subdivision listed
COUNTY— The county listed
AREA— May be a 3-5 digit code or Suburb ID, varies per MLS
SCHOOL DISTRICT— The school district listed
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL— The elementary school listed
MIDDLE SCHOOL— The middle school listed
HIGH SCHOOL— The high school listed





The Results Page
Our clean, thumbnail results page delivers functionality as well as an impactful visual presentation of the results.

The Tabbed design makes it easy for the user to return to the search forms, but with the Modify Search On-The-Fly options the user has a convenient way to modify search results and change the sort order or display options of the results.

Modify Search On-The-Fly options include:

Sort Results Order by selecting from:

Results Display Options include
DEFAULT (2 Rows of 4) - 8 Properties
2 Rows of 2 - 4 Properties
3 Rows of 5 - 15 Properties
4 Rows of 4 - 16 Properties
6 Rows of 5 - 30 Properties
20 Rows of 1 - 20 Properties

Images and Property Information are displayed to help the user make a quick determination about each property and whether or not they are going to be interested in “More Details” which links the user to the Printable Property Brochure.

The Scrolling Thumbnails provide for a quick look at the rest of the property images. Simply position your mouse pointer over each of the thumbnail images and any additional property images will be scrolled through automatically.



The Map This Listing Selection Box allows the user to select multiple properties of interest to be grouped and mapped together. This gives the user the ultimate convenience of comparing the locations of only the properties they’re interested in and not having to muddle through a bunch of unwanted properties on the map.

When the user chooses the MAP MY SELECTIONS button all of the selected properties are compiled into a single list. The user then has the option of removing any unwanted properties, by deselecting the “Map This Listing” check box or can also “Return to Search Results” to gather any additional properties.

The user then has the choice of delivering the selected properties to either a Google Map or Google Earth. The Google Map requires no additional software to function, whereas Google Earth does require the user to either already have Google Earth application installed on their PC, or if the user does NOT already have a copy of the Google Earth application installed, they can download it for Free.





The Printable Property Brochure
The Property Brochure has a sleek and modern design that delivers style and elegance to any listing. The brochure includes:
A COMPANY BANNER— This is a customizable banner that is
designed to carry over the company and/or franchise brand identity of the agent.
AN AGENT BANNER— This banner provides a placeholder for the Agent
Image and the Agent Contact Information, including Office Phone, Mobile Phone, Email Address and Website.

AN EMAIL THIS LISTING LINK— Provides the user with a easy way to
forward this specific listing on to anyone with an email address. Simply fill in the email address and press “send”.

PROPERTY IMAGES— Include the mouse-over-to-enlarge functionality. By
placing your mouse pointer over any thumbnail image it changes the larger image view to the thumbnail image your mouse pointer is on.

PROPERTY INFORMATION— Includes pertinent data, such as:
ASKING PRICE MLS NUMBER
ADDRESS BEDROOMS
BATHROOMS SQUARE FEET
YEAR BUILT ACREAGE
ELEMENTARY MIDDLE SCHOOL
HIGH SCHOOL SUBDIVISION

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION— This is the property as described by the
listing agent.

PROPERTY FEATURE LIST— This is a list of all of the features as
available from the MLS/IDX Database. The feature list varies per region.

MORTGAGE CALCULATOR— This a very easy to use Mortgage
Calculator, including the modifiable fields of:
PRICE DOWN
APR TERM
With the (non-modifiable) results fields of:
LOAN INTEREST
TOTAL MONTHLY

CONTACT THE AGENT BANNER— Is an area for the agent to provide a
statement that helps draw a lead capture from the user. An example statement would be:
“Click here to make an offer or to find out more about this property.”













































Google Map
From the Printable Property Brochure, if you select the “Google Map” Tab you will open that one property in a Google Map.

Notice that we keep the tabbed design for continuity, plus we’ve also maintained the agent branding by carrying over the Agent Banner.

The map is a completely functional Google Map that you can zoom in and out on, choose the Hybrid view or even launch Google Earth from.

The tabs at the top return you to the Property Brochure, Google Earth and Google Street View.



From the Results Pages with the “Map My Selections” feature you can select multiple properties to be mapped to better discern interest and compare locations and regional amenities.

Again we maintain agent branding with the Agent Banner as a header and sustain continuity with the tabbed design.

Not only do we place the Info Bubble Property Icons on the map, we also list all of the selected properties down the side. If you “mouse-over” any of the Property Images MLS EARTHview™ will actually reposition the map and open the property information bubble for that property.

As the user determines preferences of properties, they can deselect the property by unchecking the “Map This Listing” check box from the Property List which will remove the unwanted properties (by icon) from the map.





Google Earth
From the Printable Property Brochure, if you select the “Google Earth” Tab you will open that one property in Google Earth.

Since Google Earth is a separate application the Agent Banner and Tabbed Design are not available.

The power of Google Earth is definitely the Interactive Layers that are available in the side task pane, and include:

The most powerful of which is the PLACES OF INTEREST which include:

From the Results Pages with the “Map My Selections” feature you can select multiple properties to be mapped to Google Earth to better discern interest and compare locations and regional amenities.

In the Google Earth “Places” Panel you will see the list of Property Addresses with the price. When you click any of the Map Icons and the Property Information Bubble opens, that property will also be highlighted on the “Places” list.

As the user determines preferences of properties, they can deselect the “Places” check box for any property they are not interested in and remove the unwanted properties from the Google Earth map.





Google Street View
From the Printable Property Brochure, if you select the “Google Street View” Tab you will open that one property in Google Street View.

Notice that we keep the tabbed design for continuity, plus we’ve also maintained the agent branding by carrying over the Agent Banner.

It is important to know that Google Street View is not available in all areas, but their coverage is growing daily. If you are seeing this, then more than likely, Google Street View is available in your area.

The power of Google Street View is the 360° street-level perspective provided. The user will - literally - virtually drive up and down the street and can look at both sides, to easily discern the neighborhood ambiance and ascertain whether or not this area is right for them.

Google Street View truly delivers the “like being there” feeling.



Navigation is as simple as “grabbing the image” with your mouse and rotating it left, right, up and down. You can click on the directional arrows to proceed up and down the street or turn at intersections.

You can also zoom in and out using your “scroll” on your mouse.

With Google Street View you can definitely see everything that anyone would see driving in their own car up and down the same streets, all from the maximum convenience and super-economical perspective of the Internet.





One Button Searching
The core of the MLS EARTHview™ flexibility is the saved search aspects associated with our product. If you can search it, we can save it… as a hyperlink for a banner or button, such as “Lake-front Properties” or “Northeast City Homes” etc.

This allows the Agent to better market specific niches and simplifies the search to one button for the user.

This One Button Searching is virtually limitless, all that is required is the searchable fields actually be available from the MLS/IDX Database.

Keep in mind that the MLS EARTHview™ Results Pages include the Modify-On-The-Fly functionality to help a user’s better hone in on their individual and more specific needs.





Featured Listings
Featured Listings means different things to different Agents. It could be their own listings. It could be their team or brokerage listings. It could be the properties in the MLS Database that they can make the most commission on.

The actual discernment doesn’t really matter because all options are available with MLS EARTHview™. The Agent simply identifies what criteria they would like to match for their “Featured Listings” button and MLS EARTHview™ delivers.

It could be as simple as all properties with this one listing agent, or with these listing agents. It could be properties listed within this one subdivision. It could be these specific MLS Numbers of the properties.

The opportunities are truly endless, and MLS EARTHview gives Agents the freedom to be specific.





Lead Capture
Lead capture is a delicate balance of trying to garner information for the Agent while not alienating or offending the user.

MLS EARTHview™ accomplishes this with what they deem as “Soft Lead Capture” forms, which are more like digital customer service liaisons than the aggressive and blocking “gateway” forms.

The Agent is allowed to predetermine an interval, such as after the User has viewed 3 or 5 property details, then the “Soft Lead Capture” form opens and asks the user if they would like to contact the agent, have the agent contact them, or if they would like to receive email updates regarding their search, etc.

Nothing is forced, unless the Agent prefers to require certain data from the user before allowing the user to search anymore properties.

Any form can be passive, and include an option such as:
“Not Right Now - I’m Just Looking”

And, any form can be a definitive “gateway” form requiring certain information be delivered to the Agent before the user is allowed to continue with their property search.

This selection is completely up to the Agent and their preferences.





Presentations
MLS EARTHview™ is a wonderful, in-your-office, presentation tool.

Imagine an Agent sitting across the desk from the new clients— with a dual monitor setup— asking them about the specifics of the property they desire, what’s their key need? Bedrooms? Size? Location? Amenities? Neighborhood? Price? Etc. Etc.

MLS EARTHview™ gives you so much more than just your ordinary and, quite often, boring property brochures.

MLS EARTHview™ helps the Agent make mediocre brochures a thing of the past.

The MLS EARTHview™ “Link Builder” is the at the core of the search flexibility. If you can search it, you can save it... as a hyperlink for special buttons or banners.

The only real limitation is whether or not the MLS or IDX Database provide the necessary field(s) to search.

Some examples of searches Agents can create and save themselves:
SUBDIVISION PROPERTIES - Where “Subdivision” is the actual
Subdivision Name, such as Windmere, Bella Colina, White
Rock, etc.

LAKE-FRONT HOMES - This DOES require the MLS to provide
a “water-front” field

GOLF COURSE COMMUNITIES - This is easily done by the
Agent listing the subdivisions with golf courses

NORTHEAST CITY PROPERTIES - The Agent can identify their
city’s northeast Zip Codes

CITY HOMES FROM $500K-$750K - The Agent specifies the
city and price range


The options are virtually limitless. This is a wonderful way for any Agent to specialize in a niche market and even devote an area of their website to each niche.
